How to Install Easy Testimonials Pro for WordPress

Overview

Please note: in order to use Easy Testimonials Pro, you’ll first need to install the free version of Easy Testimonials from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Easy Testimonials Pro will automatically integrate itself with the free plugin.

Step 1: Download the Easy Testimonials Pro plugin

After purchasing, download Easy Testimonials Pro from the Gold Plugins Members portal. You will receive the plugin as a zip file.

Step 2: Upload the zip file to WordPress, or unzip it and upload it using FTP

You can install Easy Testimonials Pro using the Plugins » Add New menu in WordPress. Just upload the zip containing the plugin, and follow the on-screen instructions to activate it. Please note, this feature depends on your server’s configuration, and may not be supported on your website.

You can also unzip the file, and use an FTP client to upload the contents of the /easy-testimonials/ folder to your website’s /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Once you’ve uploaded the plugin, be sure to visit the Plugins page in WordPress to activate Easy Testimonials Pro.

Step 3: Activate Easy Testimonials Pro with your API Key

Once you’ve activated the plugin, you’ll be taken to the License Information screen in Easy Testimonials Settings.

On this page, you’ll see a form for you to enter your API Key to Activate the Pro plugin. Activating your plugin is required to receive automatic updates or to receive technical support.

You API key should have arrived in your email when you purchased Easy Testimonials Pro, as well as being available on your purchase receipt. You can always retrieve your API key from the Members portal.

Step 4: Add your Testimonials and Setup a Testimonials Page!

Great work! You’ve finished installing Easy Testimonials Pro!
