How are license renewals handled?
All plugins are licensed for one year at a time. After that you may renew your license at a 30% discount to continue receiving automatic updates and technical support.
When your license renewal date is approaching, we will send you an email reminder with a link to renew at a 30% discount. You will not be billed again automatically without your consent.
Will my plugin keep working with an expired license?
Yes – our plugins are designed to continue functioning even if your license key expires. However, due to the nature of software updates (such as WordPress and other plugins), there is the possibility that the plugin will eventually stop working due to other updates within WordPress or related plugins. For this reason, it is highly recommended that you renew your license, but it is optional.
Gold Plugins are licensed for one year at a time. After that you may renew your license at a 30% discount to continue updates and support.
What are the differences between the Single, Business, and Developer licenses?
The Single License is valid for only one website, however, you may use the plugin on both your staging and development website. The Business License is valid for five total websites, and just like the Single License your staging and development websites do not count against this quota.
The Developer license is valid for unlimited websites that you own or develop. You can use it all of your projects. And if you are an organization, you can even share it with your team for use on projects within your company.
Additionally, the Business and Developer licenses come with Priority Support. While we do our best to answer all support requests quickly, customers with Business and Developer licenses move to the very top of the queue and can expect faster responses.
Can you help me install my plugins?
Absolutely! Just contact support and we’ll be happy to help. We’ll need at least a username and password for your WordPress installation, and possibly FTP access.
What is the difference between the free and Pro versions?
For each of our Pro plugins, we maintain a free version as well. While fully functional, these free versions are missing the advanced features of our Pro plugins. Additionally, our free plugins contain advertisements and a mailing list sign-up form, whereas our Pro plugins do not.
Our Pro plugins also receive support, whereas support for our free plugins is limited to the WordPress support forums.
If I cancel my membership, can I still use my plugins?
Yes! Even if you cancel your membership, you’re welcome to keep using the plugins, and you’ll continue to receive updates.
However, we won’t be able to provide support for you unless you have an active membership, and you won’t receive the new plugins that are released after you cancel your membership.
